Get To Know – Desiree Sanks, Customer Service Administrator

1. What is your position and how long have you been with Commuter Connect? 

I am the Customer Service Administrator for CIRTA and I have been employed with the agency for about 9 months.

2. How did you get started in the industry?

I was employed with IndyGo as a Contractor for many years, so I have a lot of experience in the transportation industry.

3. What is your favorite part of the job?

My favorite part of the job is helping people.

4. What is your best commuting tip? 

My best commuting tip is to stay as safe as possible and always be aware of your surroundings when commuting.

5. How do you like to spend your time outside of work? 

Outside of work, I like to just relax and watch HGTV, OWN and all of the Lifetime channels.

6. What is one thing you want to do when the pandemic is over? 

When the pandemic is over, I would LOVE to just be able to congregate with people again.

7. What are you reading or watching right now? 

I am currently watching the series Greenleaf on the OWN channel.

8. What is your favorite destination/activity in Central Indiana?

My favorite activity in Central Indiana would be walking along Mass Ave.
